Our Story
Dakota Empyrean can be translated to mean Friend of the Heavenly Realms.
Kelly and Nella have been married for 25 plus years with a beautiful daughter, son-in-law, and five grandchildren. Our love of creating new things lead us to share these items with others.
Kelly is all about painting. Abstract is his specialty. There is a meaning in all he puts on a canvas.
Nella fell in love with all things crochet during the COVID quarantine period. This love of yarn has led to a house full of the stuff. It seems to be everywhere! Currently, her favorite thing to make is Amigurumi (stuffed animals) as they are all adorable and cuddly. However, you may see scarfs, blankets, and other items.
Dakota Empyrean is an outlet for creative energy.
Our Art
The art that is available through Dakota Empyrean is a mixture of products. Kelly and I are the major contributors, but there is a number of other artists who have their creations on the site as well.
Our grandkids have begun exploring their art interests. You may see some of these pieces premiered at an upcoming event.
